Vice Gov. Idah Continues Cheap Market Program After Ramadan

(Photo by Nova Diskominfotik) Gorontalo Regency, Kominfotik – In an opening the sixth cheap market event during Ramadan, Vice Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie stated that the provincial government continues cheap market program after Ramadan it is aimed to fight regional inflation and, most importantly, assist those in need. (March 25, 2025). Idah also added that this initiative is highly beneficial to the residents. Meanwhile, cheap market event held at Makorem 133/NWB will be the last one during Ramadan after previously held on five different locations—Limboto sub district, Suwawa, the High Prosecutor’s Office courtyard, Paguyaman sub district, and the Gorontalo Regional Police office also being held in Paguat, Pohuwato regency by Governor Gusnar. Lastly, Vice Gov. Idah also expressed her gratitude to Brigadier General Army Force Hari Pahlawantoro, Commander of Korem 133/NWB, for facilitating this event, which was attended by 1,500 residents. It was reported that the normal price for the seven staple food items was IDR 251,000 but they were sold for IDR 95,000 only , with a 69% subsidy provided by Provincial Government.
